Hi, my name is Andrea Abarca and I am a group fitness instructor here at Reps FNC. I teach Strong by Zumba and occasionally sub for regular Zumba. I've always had an interest in wellness and health. I studied Exercise Science and Dance at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. Currently, I'm trying to get certified as a personal trainer. When I'm not at the gym, I'm dancing for the Chicago Bulls, also known as the Luvabulls. Reps FNC is my second home. I am always here instructing, working out, rehearsing, or even covering shifts at the front desk. Feel free to say hi or ask me any questions!
Broderick Edwards Bio:
Broderick started his education at Harold Washington Community College and then went to Concordia University in Chicago where he played football.
He is a certified American Sports Fitness Association Personal Trainer.
Broderick loves training people and changing lives one person at a time, even his own, with hard work and positive energy. His training landed him in a program called “Put Illinois to Work” for 10 years working with kids that have special needs.
His interests include old American muscle cars and his family; he donated a kidney in 2010 to his Great Aunt.
Bruce Do Bio:
Peoria Athletic Club is where Bruce began training in the arts of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing, and Muay Thai. When Bruce was five years young he was old enough to attend classes at a local Tae Kwon Do school in Peoria, IL, following his older brothers. Fourteen years later Bruce has a Chicago golden gloves championship under his belt, multiple amateur bouts and six years of teaching experience from beginners to pros.
Matt Duffy Bio:
Matt is a trainer whose fitness journey began through practical means, preparing for work in construction. Though upon finding a passion for lifting, he turned his career around on a path to helping others begin a fitness lifestyle. His own lifting is geared towards powerlifting, he has experience and knowledge about most forms of fitness, from bodybuilding to sports conditioning. Training with Matt, you will find increases in strength, energy, and overall health. His focus is always on technique and efficiency, ensuring safe and effective training. Some of his other passions include: Film, Tattoos, Reading, Soccer, and Board Games.
Mike Merritt Bio:
Mike is certified personal training through International Sports Science Association and NASM National Association of Sports Medicine.
As a football player from Harper College, Mike has been dedicated to fitness and health all his career. He saw the extraordinary ability to transform the body and mind, by strength and conditioning. He is passionate about taking his clients to their full potential. Whether you are an athlete or not, it is his strong belief that anyone can reach athletic conditioning and results.

Mikes other interests include working out, sports, traveling, food.
Christi Gallagher Bio:
Christi is a detail-oriented, qualified fitness enthusiast committed to the overall safety and success of every client. Certified personal trainer, yoga, cycling, youth conditioning and USA Track and Field.
Coaching and wellness has always been a part of her life. Many years of experience and certifications in the health and fitness industry (working with college football players to soccer moms to cancer survivors) has allowed Christi to bring many diverse approaches to instruction.
She has 3 focuses; Get Fast, Get Started, Get Fit. Her goals are to improve functional/sport performance, to break through plateaus, to educate, to instruct and to inspire.
